Gracie's Poem

We wrote about how we felt in the hall when the Warriors visited us. Here is Gracie's poem expressing her feeling.

Warriors in the Hall
As they asked the question
I realised what I was in to win
I felt as though I could spin
My hand shot up as quick as a bull in a pack...
They missed me, but then they came back

He handed me a bag with a band, he said congrats,
I said Oh thanks
I took it off him, look what I've won
I could feel the tingle in my lungs
It was the best of school days.

  1. When I read your poem Gracie, it took me back to the visit in the hall. You painted a great picture of what was happening and I thought your use of rhyme was very effective.
